These Terms govern your use of Pull Up, including discovering places, posting Moments, hosting events, using Pull Up features and any optional promotional features.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Pull Up, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you don't agree, please don't use Pull Up.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Pull Up.
Certain events, venues or experiences shown through Pull Up may impose additional age requirements, including 18+ or other restrictions. You're responsible for complying with those requirements and any applicable law. Pull Up account eligibility and event/venue eligibility are separate: a Pull Up is not a ticket, an age check, or a guarantee of admission, and venues and hosts can refuse entry according to their own rules and applicable law. Pull Up does not override those age restrictions.
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your account secure, for the accuracy of the details you provide, and for activity that happens under your account. Don't impersonate another person, business or venue, and don't sell, share or transfer your account to anyone else.
4. What Pull Up does
Pull Up is a live social discovery app. It helps you find places, hosted events and community activity nearby, see the map, post and view Moments, and connect with what's happening around you. Pull Up is generally a platform that people use to discover and host gatherings. It is not automatically the organiser of every event that appears in the app.
5. Places and venue listings
Place listings on Pull Up may be generated from information Pull Up has added, public location information, or community activity. A place appearing on Pull Up does not imply any partnership, endorsement or business relationship between Pull Up and that venue.
6. Moments
When you post a Moment, you confirm that you have the rights to the content and that it doesn't violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines. Respect the privacy of people around you when you film or photograph. Prohibited material is not allowed. Moments are intentionally temporary, and Pull Up may remove a Moment at any time, including before it would otherwise expire.
7. Content ownership and licence
You keep ownership of the content you post on Pull Up. By posting, you grant Pull Up a limited licence to host, display, technically reproduce, distribute within the service, process and moderate that content, solely as needed to operate and provide Pull Up. We don't take ownership of your content.
8. Hosting events
If you host an event, you're responsible for having the authority or permission to host it, providing accurate details, securing any necessary property or venue permission, complying with applicable law, managing your attendees, and updating or cancelling your event if details change. Pull Up does not guarantee, vouch for, or automatically endorse any hosted event.
9. Public and request-approval events
Events can be public, where location may be visible to users browsing Pull Up, or request-approval, where the exact address stays hidden until the host approves a request. Don't try to work around hidden-address controls, and don't redistribute a protected address you've been given access to without permission. Access to a restricted address does not override any age restriction, capacity limit or other legal requirement that applies to that event.
10. Pull Ups
A Pull Up indicates interest or intention to go somewhere. It is not a ticket, not a guaranteed reservation, not guaranteed entry, and not proof that you or anyone else were physically present at a place. Venues may still apply their own age restrictions, capacity limits, ticket requirements, dress codes or admission policies, regardless of any Pull Up activity.
11. Routes and directions
Where Pull Up provides directions or route information to help you get somewhere, that information is provided for convenience only. You're responsible for following directions safely and for observing local traffic and safety rules.
12. Boosts and paid promotion
Pull Up may offer paid Boosts that increase an event's visibility. A Boost does not guarantee attendance, does not guarantee Pull Ups, and does not mean Pull Up endorses the boosted event. Boosts may be purchased through supported payment or app-store systems, and payment or refund rules may also be governed by the terms of the platform you purchased through.
13. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk or exploit others
- Post hateful, discriminatory or explicit sexual content
- Engage in illegal activity
- Create fake events or misleading live content
- Spam, run bots, or generate fake Pull Ups or engagement
- Impersonate another person, host or venue
- Dox others or share private addresses without permission
- Scrape Pull Up or abuse its infrastructure
- Evade a ban or suspension
14. Safety
Pull Up helps you discover activity nearby, but we can't guarantee the safety, accuracy or quality of every place or event shown in the app. Use your own judgement when deciding whether and how to attend something you find on Pull Up.
15. Reporting
If you see something that breaks our Community Guidelines or these Terms, please report it from within the app, or reach out through Contact.
16. Moderation, removal and suspension
Pull Up may remove Moments, remove or restrict events, limit visibility of content or accounts, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
17. Intellectual property
The Pull Up name, brand, design and software are owned by Pull Up and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms gives you rights to use Pull Up's branding or software except as needed to use the app as intended.
18. Third-party services
Pull Up relies on third-party services for things like maps, authentication and payments. Your use of those features may also be subject to that provider's own terms.
19. Service availability
Pull Up may change, be interrupted, or evolve over time, including the addition, change or removal of features.
20. Disclaimers
Pull Up doesn't promise exact crowd levels, that any listed event will actually happen as described, entry to any venue, the safety of any place or event, the accuracy of venue or place information, or that any Moment accurately reflects current conditions at a location.
21. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pull Up is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.
22. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as Pull Up evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
23. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland (TBC). TODO: confirm the registered legal entity (Pull Up (legal entity name TBC)) and registered address (Registered address TBC) before this page is treated as final.
